What size books do you produce?
We can print almost any custom-sized book, brochure or booklet. However, the standard UK sizes A6, A5, A4 and A3. If you need some guidance from our creative team please feel free to contact us.
How do I make my Saddle Stapled Book ready to print?
Print ready saddle stapled book files should submitted in PDF format, 300dpi with crop marks and a 3mm bleed. We recommend all text and layout to be at least 5mm from the edge of the artwork. The pages should be supplied as a single page PDF document.
How can I check the colours of my file will print correctly?
Files for digital printing should be supplied in CMYK colour format. Files supplied in RGB and Pantones may have different results from that seen on screen.
How can I set up my file for speciality ink finishes?
Layers of your artwork that require speciality inks should be vectorised and changed to magenta. Here’s a full guide for more creative metallic ink finishes.
How can I choose the best paper for my Saddle Stapled Book?
White/ Lightly Coloured Smooth Papers: Best for designs with a solid colour or image background. Works best with additional matt or gloss lamination finishes or white, clear or speciality inks such as white, clear or metallic inks.
Deep Coloured Smooth Papers: Works well for designs with plain backgrounds and speciality inks such as white, clear or metallic inks.
All Textured Papers: Works well for designs with plain backgrounds and speciality inks such as white, clear or metallic inks.
